Obtaining the EPP code for common extensions net, com, biz, eu, org, etc.

Introduction

• In this tutorial we will show you where you can get the EPP code.

Requirements

• Access to the client account;
• An active domain with the extension .com, .eu, .net, etc.;

Steps

• After logging into the client account, you will go to the Domains; section

In the menu with the presentation of active domains in the client account, we will click on the domain for which we want to request the authorization key (EPP);

The open panel presents us with information related to the domain, where we also have the button to generate the EPP code:

Note:

• It is possible that the EPP code is not displayed for certain domains; in this case, the sales department will be contacted;
• Make sure before requesting the EPP code that the domain is still active for at least 15 - 30 days;
• For more specialized extensions, it may be necessary to generate an EPP code, in this regard please contact the sales department;
• Before using the EPP code to transfer a domain, make sure that the domain does not have one or more protection options checked, such as: Anti Theft (Theft Protection / Domain Lock / Registrar Lock) and WHOIS / ID Protection.
