Introduction

  • In this tutorial we will show how to add or manage an additional domain in the Webuzo administration panel.

Requirements

  • a Webuzo account

Steps

  • After logging into the Webuzo administration panel, we will go to the Domain section and click on Add Domain.

 Add domain webuzo panel

  • After accessing "Add Domain", the window below will open and we will be able to add domains and subdomains by filling out the form.

Add New Domain Webuzo

We will carefully fill out each field in the following order:

  1. In the Domain field, we will enter the name of the domain or subdomain that we want to add to the hosting account.
  2. Is Domain Addon or Parked? We leave it checked to function as an additional domain. Attention to this field, if it is unchecked the domain or subdomain will be added as Parked.
  3.  In Domain path we will set the domain location.
  4.  The IP Address (Optional) field will be used in case the server has multiple dedicated IPs; we then fill in and allocate the desired IP for our domain or subdomain. If left blank, the main IP of the hosting account is automatically allocated.
  5.  At  Mail Validation records (Optional) we check to generate the DNS records for email DKIM and SPF, necessary for the proper functioning of the email service.
  6.  The last option Issue Let's Encrypt certificate is only functional with the full version of the Webuzo panel (If you are using the free version of the Webuzo control panel, this function will have no effect!)

Immediately after filling in the fields, we press the button below Add Domain and wait for the display of the confirmation pop-up illustrated below.
